As a Security Officer - Aero Defense Site - Full Time in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in maintaining a secure environment within a leading aerospace and defense location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to all visitors and personnel. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor access points and observe activities within the location to help to deter potential threats and support a secure environment.
• Communicate clearly with team members and site personnel regarding security-related matters and incidents.
• Document observations and incidents according to site and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Remain alert and adaptable to changing conditions within the location, which may include areas related to aerospace and defense operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
