As a Security Professional - Armed Retail Site - Full Time in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more.

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents at a retail location. Your responsibilities will include routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help foster a secure environment, and providing outstanding customer service to all visitors and staff. This is an armed post, requiring you to carry out your duties with professionalism and integrity. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted activity.
• Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities as required by site protocols.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency personnel when necessary, supporting incident resolution according to site guidelines.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and communicate any security-related concerns or hazards to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have a minimum of three years combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Hold a Level III armed certification if required by the state of Texas.
• Have customer service experience, which is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
