As a Security Professional - Tech/Media Patrol in Boise, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

As a Screener in a dynamic technology-focused location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for all. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and interact with employees, visitors, and vendors in a professional manner while conducting security-related screening procedures at the entrance to the technology location.
  • Follow site-specific policies and procedures to help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited items from entering the premises.
  • Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, using problem-solving skills to address security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entry points and use screening equipment or methods as required by site protocols.
  • Communicate clearly with Allied Universal management and site leadership regarding incidents, concerns, or unusual activity.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as directed, following established protocols for the location.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of screening activities and incidents as required by site policy.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A valid security guard card or license is preferred.
  • Experience with access control systems and/or badge management is preferred.
  • CPR and first aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
