As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and promoting a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate de-escalation and communication skills.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain compliance with location policies.
• Assist hospital staff, visitors, and patients by providing directions and responding to requests for assistance.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and irregularities according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as directed during incidents or emergencies.
• Participate in routine drills and training to maintain readiness for emergency response and security-related procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess Act 235 qualification if applying in Pennsylvania.
• Possess a valid firearms permit.
• Have customer service experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
