Job Description


As a Security Professional Unarmed Healthcare Patrol Full-Time in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with staff, patients, and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within a healthcare environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Observe and report any security-related incidents or hazards to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist visitors, patients, and staff with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Follow all site-specific procedures and protocols as directed by Allied Universal and the location's management.
  • Support access control measures by monitoring entry and exit points as required.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare staff and first responders during emergencies and/or drills.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
