As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol Guard in Clinton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for conducting routine armed patrols and maintaining a visible presence at a government location to help deter security-related incidents. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities, offering you the opportunity to play a key part in fostering a secure environment. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and the location.
  • Provide customer service by assisting individuals and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor for unusual activity and report security-related incidents or hazards according to established protocols.
  • Collaborate with location staff and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns and maintain a secure environment.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of observations, incidents, and activities during each shift.
  • Utilize security-related equipment and communication devices as required for the armed patrol post.

Minimum Requirements:

  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
