As a Security Officer - Cultural Institution Patrol in Lilburn, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more.

As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a cultural institution, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a welcoming environment for all visitors and staff. Your visible presence and professional demeanor will contribute to a secure atmosphere, while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or incidents to Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as required.
• Assist visitors and staff with directions and information as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
• Support access control measures by monitoring entry and exit points at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
