As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Financial Site in Compton, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned financial institution locations, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind to clients and visitors. This role involves conducting routine patrols and responding to situations as they arise, while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, working in an environment where people come first and integrity guides every action. This is an armed position, requiring a commitment to professionalism and responsibility.

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond appropriately during emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the financial institution's location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any irregularities.
• Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal management and local law enforcement as needed for incident response and reporting.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by site protocols.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to alarms, emergencies, and/or requests for assistance as required by the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess an active armed guard card or license.
• Hold a current CPR and/or First Aid certification, preferred.
• Hold a current guard card or license, preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
