As a Security Professional Armed Patrol Government Licensed in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Armed Officer, where you will actively monitor and patrol government locations to help deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind to those you serve. This position requires both armed and driving responsibilities, allowing you to respond quickly and appropriately to situations as they arise. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report any suspicious behavior or security-related concerns to the appropriate authorities.
• Assist visitors and employees with security-related inquiries and access control procedures.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related incidents at the government location.
• Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation as required by Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
