As a Security Officer - Access Control - Full Time in WEST POINT, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

As a Security Professional with Allied Universal in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will be responsible for access control, monitoring entry points, and conducting routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. Your presence and attention to detail will contribute to a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. You will also provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and utilize technology such as computers or tablets as part of your daily duties. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Control access to the location by verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activities.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with questions regarding access procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related concerns.
• Document and report any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or breaches of access control procedures to the appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site management to maintain a secure environment in a manufacturing and industrial setting.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
