As a Security Officer - Days - Site Screener in Chandler, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

As a Screener in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will play a key role in monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and interact with visitors and employees to provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the location.
  • Screen individuals entering the premises, verifying identification and/or credentials as required by site protocols.
  • Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and report any suspicious activity.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related concerns.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to address questions or concerns.
  • Document observations and incidents accurately in daily activity reports and/or logs as required.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
