As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Government Full-Time in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment within a government location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine armed patrols, remaining highly visible to support a sense of security, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for suspicious activity and report any security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as needed.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.
• Carry and responsibly handle assigned firearms in accordance with Allied Universal policies and applicable laws.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities.
• Support access control measures by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points as required by site policies.
• Assist with emergency procedures, including evacuations and/or lockdowns, as directed by site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
