As a Security Officer - Unarmed Healthcare Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence for staff, patients, and visitors. This is a driving post, where you will conduct routine patrols primarily by vehicle, remain visible throughout the property, and deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and helping to manage visitor flow as needed.
• Support emergency response activities, including guiding individuals during drills or real incidents, in accordance with healthcare site requirements.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities encountered during shifts.
• Communicate professionally with clients, staff, and visitors to provide assistance and information as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• A Security Professional Guard Card and/or license is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
