As a Security Professional - Tech Media Screener in Boise, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

As a Screener in a dynamic tech-focused location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a welcoming presence. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication to everyone you encounter. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Screen individuals entering the location to help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited items in accordance with site protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verifying identification and credentials as required by site-specific guidelines.
• Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and/or contractors, providing information and assistance as needed.
• Document and report any unusual activity, incidents, or security-related concerns to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possession of a valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
