As a Security Professional - Unarmed Mobile Patrols in Boston, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and interact with employees and visitors to provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas within the food and beverage production environment to help to deter unauthorized access.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or security-related concerns to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel or client contacts.
  • Support access control procedures for employees, visitors, and contractors, verifying credentials as required by site policies.
  • Assist with emergency response activities, including evacuation procedures, as directed by site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by the client site.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Applicants who are comfortable using a computer or tablet are preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
