As a Security Professional Armed Transportation Patrol Officer in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more.

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a major transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role will involve conducting routine patrols, responding to incidents, and providing exceptional customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior and/or security-related hazards within transportation environments.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to staff and the public.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or law enforcement as needed.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and/or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal policies.
• Adhere to all site-specific protocols, including those related to the carrying and use of firearms, in accordance with legal and company standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
