As a Security Professional - Government Screener Patrol in Stockton, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

As a Screener with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, interacting with visitors and staff, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and screen all individuals entering the location in accordance with site-specific policies and procedures.
  • Assist with the implementation of security-related protocols to help to deter prohibited items or unauthorized access within the government facility.
  • Provide customer service by answering questions and assisting visitors, employees, and/or contractors as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
  • Maintain detailed records of screening activities and report any irregularities or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency responders as required during emergency response activities.
  • Remain alert and attentive while monitoring entry points to help to deter potential security-related threats.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
