Job Description


As a Airport Law Enforcement Officer in Kahului, HI, you will serve and safeguard the airport, its facilities, its travelers, and airport operations. You will interact with the public, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. Position Type: Full Time - Afternoon Shift

Pay Rate: $28.86 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $3.58. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Minimum Qualifications (NO EXCEPTIONS):

To be considered, all applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • 2+ years of professional law enforcement experience in the U.S. after graduating from a certified law enforcement academy (Federal, State, or County level)
  • Must provide valid and verifiable credentials at the time of application

Pre-Employment Requirements:

  • Graduate of Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or Equivalent (must provide credentials upon applying)
  • Valid Driver's License 
  • Law Enforcement Officer License
  • 22+ years of age 

What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible presence.
  • Carry and responsibly handle firearms in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and/or activities during shifts.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as required by site protocols.
  • Assist visitors, employees, and contractors by providing information and guidance as needed.
  • Remain alert to unusual activities or conditions and promptly communicate concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
  • Must possess an armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
  • Must be at least 22 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Must be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
