As a Security Professional - Dispatch Patrol Tech in Rochester, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting security-related operations within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring communications, coordinating responses, and assisting with incident management to help to deter potential security-related incidents. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Monitor and coordinate communications for incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting site operations within a technology, media, and telecom location.
• Dispatch and direct security-related personnel as needed to respond to incidents or requests for assistance.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of all communications, incidents, and activities during the shift.
• Support regular and random patrols by coordinating with on-site personnel to help to deter unauthorized activity around the business and perimeter.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with site staff, visitors, and Allied Universal team members to relay information and instructions.
• Assist with access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points and reporting any irregularities to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
