As a Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol - Full Time in Flat Rock, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer and play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service while assisting visitors and employees. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the premises by vehicle and/or on foot, supporting access control, and responding to security-related needs as they arise. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the tech, media, and telecom environment to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Collaborate with on-site staff and local authorities as needed to address security-related matters and support a secure environment.
• Remain alert and observant while on duty, adapting to varying working environments and conditions specific to the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Experience providing customer service is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Ability to use a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
