Job Description


Allied Universal Security is seeking guards to join our team on either the afternoon or overnight schedule conducting vehicle patrols as well as other duties within our Hospital and Treatment Center Team!  As a Security Professional - Treatment Center Patrol in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible throughout the facility, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Afternoon: 2:00pm-10:00pm

Overnight: 10:00pm - 6:00am

 


What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Assist hospital staff with de-escalation of situations involving patients; restrain combative individuals as necessary (within company and customer guidelines)

  • Transport deceased patients to the morgue, as needed

  • Perform security patrols of hospital grounds on foot or in vehicle; document detailed observations of unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
  • Provide customer service to clients, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure atmosphere for staff, patients, and visitors.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification, and/or providing directions as needed.
  • Support Allied Universal management and healthcare staff during emergency situations by following established protocols and procedures.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or observations as required by site policies.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Hold a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 1 year
  • Ability to pass a background check, including a driver’s record review
  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Availability across various days and shifts
  • Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
  • A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
