As a Security Professional Unarmed Patrol Officer in Van Nuys, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a dynamic food and beverage location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication to all visitors and staff. You will conduct regular patrols, remain visible, and respond to situations as they arise, contributing to a secure environment. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a food and beverage location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of the food and beverage environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns encountered during patrols, following established protocols for the location.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials as required for the food and beverage setting.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or vendors, providing assistance as needed while maintaining a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Document all incidents, observations, and/or actions taken during the shift in accordance with Allied Universal and client procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
