As a Security Guard - Armed - Full Time in Mesa, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment within a manufacturing and industrial location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible to support a secure atmosphere, and delivering outstanding customer service through clear communication. This armed position requires you to demonstrate professionalism and integrity while working collaboratively with others. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and assist with controlling entry and exit to restricted areas as required by site protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of observations, incidents, and daily activities.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns and support a secure environment for employees and visitors.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to any security-related emergencies or requests for assistance.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an active Armed Guard Card or License.
• Possess an active Guard Card or License is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
