As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol Driver in Sulphur, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries.

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols throughout the location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving and armed position involves monitoring assigned areas, responding to situations as they arise, and providing outstanding customer service while upholding our core values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach. You will play a key role in fostering a secure environment, utilizing your experience and professionalism to support the needs of the community and contribute to an agile and reliable team.

What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
  • Monitor and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or unusual activity observed during patrols.
  • Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or site representatives regarding incidents, issues, or concerns encountered during shifts.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and any security-related matters as required by site protocols.
  • Support access control measures by verifying credentials and/or authorizations as needed while on patrol.
  • Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies or requests for assistance throughout the assigned location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have at least one year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military roles.
  • Must have at least one year of security-related experience.
  • Must possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
