Job Description


As a Security Officer Access Control Residential in Anaheim, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more.

As an Allied Universal Security Professional in a residential setting, you will focus on access control responsibilities, monitoring entry points and conducting routine patrols to help to deter security-related incidents. Your presence will help create a welcoming environment for residents and guests, while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to residents and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment within the residential community.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and identify any security-related concerns.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, maintenance issues, or unusual activity to the appropriate personnel.
  • Work collaboratively with residents, visitors, and property management to address concerns and provide assistance as needed.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
