As a Security Officer in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom environment, you will play a key role in monitoring and coordinating security-related activities across the location. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter incidents, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and coordinate communications for incidents and requests within a dynamic tech and media environment.
• Dispatch security-related personnel and resources as needed, following site-specific protocols.
• Maintain detailed logs and records of all communications, incidents, and dispatch activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as appropriate.
• Collaborate with on-site teams to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment.
• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Support emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal and site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
