As a Security Officer- Dispatch Tech/Media Full Time in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

As a Dispatch Officer in a dynamic tech and media environment, you will play a key role in monitoring and coordinating security-related activities across the location. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible to help to deter incidents, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and coordinate communications between staff, visitors, and emergency personnel to support security-related operations at the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for dispatch operations.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, calls, and activities in a timely and accurate manner.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees and visitors with inquiries related to security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Utilize communication systems and technology to dispatch security personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Maintain awareness of all security-related activities occurring at the location to help to deter unauthorized access or incidents.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members to carry out security-related procedures and support emergency response activities as required by site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A Guard Card or security-related license is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
