Job Description


As a Security Professional - Chemical Entry Supervisor in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more.

As a Screener with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a chemical and petrochemical location. Your responsibilities include monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will also provide outstanding customer service and clear communication to all visitors and staff. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Screen individuals entering the chemical or petrochemical location, verifying credentials and following established protocols to help to deter unauthorized access.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, observing for any suspicious activity and reporting concerns according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related incidents, noting any irregularities or concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records and logs of screening activities, incidents, and observations as required by site policy.
  • Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and/or contractors, providing information and assistance as needed while upholding security-related standards.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Must have prior supervisory experience in a security-related setting.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
