Job Description


As a Airport Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol in Kailua Kona, HI, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure airport environment by monitoring airport premises, conducting security patrols, and enforcing access control procedures. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $1.96. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Requirements:

  • 21 + Years of Age
  • Valid Driver's License 
  • Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam
  • Must also have the ability to pass a federal background check for DOT 

What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the needs of the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
  • Document observations and incidents according to site protocols and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with access control procedures and verify credentials as required by site policies.
  • Support emergency response efforts by following established protocols and assisting first responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
