As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol Specialist in Raleigh, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer, where you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents within a government location. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or incidents.
  • Monitor for suspicious activity and report any security-related concerns according to established protocols.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances and/or violations of site policies.
  • Interact with visitors, staff, and/or contractors in a courteous and professional manner while upholding site-specific requirements.
  • Operate and maintain assigned security-related equipment, including firearms, in accordance with company and site policies.
  • Complete required documentation and/or incident reports accurately and promptly as directed by Allied Universal and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
