As a Security Officer - Armed Government Patrols FT in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. Your role will involve conducting routine patrols, responding to incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service through clear communication. This is an armed post, requiring you to carry and maintain the appropriate credentials. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas, in accordance with site protocols.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or hazards as required by site procedures.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary, following established communication protocols.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to any security-related emergencies or incidents in a government environment.

What We’re Looking For:

• Have at least one year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, or military roles.

• Availability across various days and shifts
• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
• A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, or military roles.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
