As a Security Officer- Armed Government Patrol Driver in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

As an Allied Universal security professional in a government location, you will conduct armed patrols and help to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible throughout the assigned area. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities, as you respond to incidents and provide exceptional customer service to all individuals on site. Pay Rate: $18.61 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or breaches.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to established protocols.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency personnel as required during incidents or emergencies.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned location to help to deter criminal activity and/or policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Level III Armed Certification is required for positions in Texas only.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
