As a Security Professional Unarmed Mall Patrol Full-Time in Long Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence for guests and tenants. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding appropriately during emergencies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas as required by site policies.
• Support emergency response activities, including guiding individuals during evacuations or other urgent situations.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
