As a Security Officer - Retail Center - Full Time in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more.

As an unarmed patrol officer at a leading retail location, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for customers and staff. You will conduct regular patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This position also involves driving responsibilities as part of your patrol duties. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within the retail location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail space and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activities and to observe any unusual conditions.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence and assisting with access control as directed.
• Collaborate with retail staff and management to address concerns and promote a secure environment for employees and shoppers.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required for positions that are primarily driving posts and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• Possession of a Guard Card is preferred.
• Experience providing customer service is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
