As a Security Professional Unarmed Resort Patrol Full-Time in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a premier hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for guests and staff. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to guests and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the hotel and resort property, including both interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or site leadership.
• Assist guests and staff with security-related matters and provide information as needed.
• Support access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas within the location.
• Work collaboratively with hotel and resort staff to address security-related needs and maintain a welcoming environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possession of a valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Possession of a state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
