As a Security Officer - Government Patrol Rounds in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication and professionalism. This position requires driving as part of your daily responsibilities. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related issues encountered during patrols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while performing duties.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly as directed by Allied Universal guidelines.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry points to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Remain alert to surroundings and maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
