As a Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol Flex in Lewiston Woodville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment. Your presence and attention to detail will help maintain order, while your strong customer service skills and clear communication will enhance the experience for everyone on site. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas within the food and beverage production location to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns encountered during patrols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
• Assist with access control procedures, including verifying credentials and logging visitors as required by site policies.
• Support emergency response efforts by following established protocols and coordinating with site personnel and/or emergency responders as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Experience with X-ray screening is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
