Job Description


As a Security Officer - Financial Site - Weekdays in Corpus Christi, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.

As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for conducting routine patrols and remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents within a financial institution setting. This primarily driving role involves engaging with clients and visitors, providing excellent customer service, and responding promptly to situations as they arise. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and guidelines provided by Allied Universal.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution and its surrounding areas to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a secure environment.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious behavior or hazards.
  • Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and clients while maintaining a visible Allied Universal presence at the location.
  • Document and report incidents, observations, and daily activities according to site requirements and Allied Universal protocols.
  • Assist with access control procedures, verifying identification and/or credentials as required for entry to restricted areas.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possession of a state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 plus years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
