As a Security Professional - Access Control Driver in Knoxville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more.

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a strong presence. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, managing access points, and providing outstanding customer service to all personnel and visitors. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized individuals only.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and contractors with access procedures and site-specific protocols.
• Follow site-specific policies and procedures related to access control and security-related activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report irregularities.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, suspicious activity, or hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, in accordance with site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
