As a Security Officer - University Patrol - Multiple Shifts in Baltimore, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at an educational location. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, staying visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service through professional communication. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within an educational environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the campus community as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around campus buildings and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and report any unusual or prohibited activity observed during patrols.
• Collaborate with campus personnel and local authorities as directed in support of security-related operations.
• Maintain detailed records and logs of patrols, incidents, and observations according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Assist students, faculty, and visitors with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
