As a Security Officer - Full Time Access Control in Tampa, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more.

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will help to deter unauthorized entry and monitor access points to maintain a secure environment. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, being visible throughout the site, and responding to security-related incidents as needed. You will also deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication, reflecting our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for unusual conditions.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and/or irregularities according to Allied Universal procedures and client requirements.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with employees, visitors, and/or vendors to provide assistance and information regarding access control policies.
• Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and site leadership to address security-related concerns within the food and beverage environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
