As a Security Officer - Healthcare Campus Patrol in Petaluma, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while creating a welcoming environment for all who visit. Your presence and attention to detail will contribute to a positive atmosphere, as you conduct routine patrols and interact with staff, patients, and visitors. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare environment in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related incidents and maintain a visible presence.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related risks encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel or authorities.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying identification, and supporting visitor management procedures as required.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare staff and other Allied Universal personnel to support a secure and welcoming environment for all individuals on site.
• Maintain accurate and detailed logs or reports of daily activities, incidents, and security-related observations as required by site policies.

• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• Pepper Spray Certification is preferred.
• Handcuffing Certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
