As a Security Officer - Government Bike Patrol in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols throughout a dynamic government location. Your presence and attentive approach will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, while you provide outstanding customer service and maintain open communication with visitors and staff. Pay Rate: $16.70 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Observe and report incidents, hazards, and/or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel, following established protocols.
• Assist visitors, employees, and/or the public with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.
• Support Allied Universal management and site leadership with additional security-related tasks as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to ride a bike.
• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
