As a Unarmed Security Officer - Residential Site in ROCKAWAY PARK, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a residential location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment for residents and visitors. You will conduct regular patrols, remain highly visible throughout the property, and provide outstanding customer service through clear communication and a caring approach. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations within the residential location in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, maintenance issues, or security-related concerns encountered during patrols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with residents, guests, and property management as needed.
• Complete daily activity reports and incident reports in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
• Follow all post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal management and/or property representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
