Job Description


As a Security Officer- Unarmed Aero Patrols in Richardson, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within an aerospace and defense environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication to those on site. You will conduct routine patrols and remain visible throughout your shift, contributing to a secure atmosphere for all personnel and visitors. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter of the location, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity and/or potential threats to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
  • Help to deter unauthorized activities by maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and following post orders.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members.
  • Document incidents and daily activities according to established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to provide proof as required by the client.
  • Must possess an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Must possess a valid state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
