As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an aerospace and defense environment. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing armed response protocols as appropriate for the location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas, in line with site policies for the aerospace and defense environment.
• Document incidents, observations, and activities in detailed reports for Allied Universal and client records.
• Assist with emergency response activities including evacuations, lockdowns, and/or medical incidents as directed by site protocols.
• Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and/or contractors to address questions and provide guidance on site procedures.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site representatives to support security-related operations within the aerospace and defense location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas.
• Must have an active Department of Defense Clearance.
• An armed guard card or license is required. 
• A CPR certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
