As a Patrol Officer working with Allied Universal at a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your visible presence and routine patrols will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any irregularities or incidents encountered during patrols within the utilities environment.
• Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with directions and information related to the location as needed.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and critical areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or activity.
• Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or site contacts regarding incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• A valid driver’s license is required and applicants must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
