As a Security Professional - - Utility Facility - Full Time in El Paso, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more.

As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a utilities location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees. Your role will focus on monitoring access, managing visitor entry, and assisting with security-related inquiries to help create a welcoming and secure environment. You'll utilize your communication skills and professionalism to provide exceptional customer service, while helping to deter potential incidents through your attentive presence. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk of a utilities location.
• Monitor access to the facility by verifying identification, logging visitors, and granting entry to authorized individuals.
• Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, following Allied Universal protocols and site instructions.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed.
• Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior.
• Communicate professionally with visitors, staff, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters and site activities.
• Complete required reports and documentation related to daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
