As a Security Guard - Education Site - Morning Shift in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout an educational location. Your visible presence and strong communication skills will support a welcoming environment for students, faculty, and visitors. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the educational location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any security-related irregularities or incidents encountered during patrols to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
• Assist visitors, students, and staff with directions and general information while maintaining a professional presence.
• Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points as needed.
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
