As a Security Professional - - Chemical Site Patrol - Full Time in Carlsbad, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more.

As an Allied Universal Security Professional assigned to an access control post at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling designated areas. Your presence and attention to detail will support a secure environment, while you provide excellent customer service and clear communication. This role requires driving responsibilities, so a valid driver's license is necessary. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Control access to the location by verifying credentials of personnel, contractors, and visitors in accordance with site-specific protocols.
  • Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activities.
  • Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter and report irregularities or potential security-related concerns.
  • Document observations, incidents, and activities in daily logs as required by site-specific protocols.
  • Communicate with Allied Universal management and/or site representatives regarding incidents or security-related matters as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required for positions that involve driving responsibilities.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
